The International Chocolate Show returns to NYC for its 10th year, bringing with it the FIRST EVER CHOCOLATE WEEK in Manhattan. Along with Shecky's Beauty Week, New York City Restaurant Week, and Tribeca's Film Festival, Chocolate Week lets New Yorkers and its visitors enjoy specialties just for the occasion. Restaurants, hotels, and retail stores around the island have agreed to celebrate as well and take part in Chocolate Week. Notable names include Artisanal, Butter, LeCirque, The Beard House, Peanut Butter Co., Brasserie ½, David Burke and Donatella, P*Ong, Bouchon Bakery, Michel Cluizel store @ ABC Carpet Store, Porter House, Country Restaurant and tons more. Specialties offered include chocolate tasting, chocolate cocktails and entire chocolate menus. What better way to spend a night out on the town than divulging in drinks and sweets with girlfriends? Join in on the nation's largest chocolate celebration: Chocolate Week is from November 4-11, 2007. The Annual Chocolate Show is from November 9-11, 2007. The Chocolate Show kicks off November 8 with the unveiling of the 2007 Haute Chocolate Couture Collection that showcases talents by designers Nicole Romano, Heidi Weisel, Reem Akra, Irina Shabayeva. Choclatiers honored include Dominique Ansel, Martin Howard and Michelle Tampakis. Chocolate demos will be taught by professionals and a Kid Zone is available for children.
