Body Focus

The Body Shop has just introduced the new Body Focus range, a line of products that target cellulite and stretch marks and offer treatment – without promising miracle cures.

How refreshing!

While I do not believe in miracles, I do believe in looking and feeling my best, and working hard to get good solid results and solutions to my problems… in this case, a dimpled derriere. I jumped at the chance to try the Sculpting Body Mask, which claims to firm, hydrate, and improve skin tone – with visible results in as little as four weeks.

I focused on relaxing while the mask worked its magic, and in the end I was pleasantly surprised: the cream, enriched with china clay, fossil mud, and soya oil, delivered the punch I would normally expect from a professional spa treatment.

My body felt detoxified.
My skin felt smooth.
I felt refreshed and reenergized.
Maybe not a miracle, but a good cure for an ailing ego!

Other Body Focus products include the Stretch Mark Improver – a lightweight cream that helps skin rebuild and renew itself; a Toning Scrub Soap that gently exfoliates as it cleanses; a Toning Massage Oil that helps boost circulation with a special blend of essential oils; a Firming Lotion that nourishes skin and leaves it silky smooth; and a vitamin-packed Cellulite Serum gel that acts as a moisture barrier, and protects the skin from environmental stresses.

The Body Shop has also developed its own Cellulite Massager, a tool designed to enhance the performance of the Body Focus product range.
