Marc by Marc Jacobs in Savannah: A Shopaholic's Dream
I returned to Savannah for Christmas this year and I was shocked to see that Broughton Street had transformed itself into a trendy, shopping mecca. The shop that surprised me the most was the Marc by Marc Jacobs which was spacious and very minimal in design. The people behind the counters looked like models or at the very least, very cool art students.

World Food Programme Feed Bag
It's one thing to be into saving the planet. It's a totally other to wait in line for ages to get ahold of an "It Bag" that could hold about a day's worth of groceries. With the inflated ebay prices of this year's other eco-bag, we introduce the sleeper hit of the season: World Food Programme's Feed Bag brought to you by the United Nations and the always-chic Lauren Bush (her extended family may have issues with the environment, but this gal doesn't).
Developed to handle an ample load of groceries and be comfortable, the Feed bag does more than help us eliminate the use of plastic bags. For every bag that is purchased, a child is fed in a public school for an entire year. While charity-related anything should be questioned these days (sad, but true), the World Food Programme distributes money through an UN-established charity ensuring your intention and dollars are headed in the right direction. Ample, satisfied appetites create ample minds and ample learning, proving that sustainable fashion should strive to take care of such a cause every time it strikes. The burlap bag is roomy enough for that once-a-week trip to the market, and boasts pockets for your cell, keys, and other doo-dads. Reversible, and washable, the bag is perfect for lugging around to the library, beach, or park and makes a great go-to bag to have stowed away in your car. The comfortable straps and sturdy material leave us thinking this bag will last, even through several summers and washes. Pick one up via amazon.com, but don't be surprised if it's on backorder. The good things usually are!
